The Quality Champion promotes quality throughout the company. You plan, implement and advance the quality systems at all levels of the organization. The champion oversees and conducts analysis to assure final product meets customer and internal quality standards. They evaluate procedures, policies, strategies and systems.
Quality Champions develops technology or plans to implement new technology that improves manufacturing and systems processes. They evaluate technology proposals and make recommendations to senior management. As a change agent they facilitate the change to the new technology.
A Champion uses six sigma tools to provide leadership and facilitate inspection activities to support production.
A Quality Champion trains employees in six sigma skills. The champion evaluates these skills and ensures employees correctly apply them. They encourage management to allow employee to learn and use these skills.
Quality Champions gather and analyze customer data. They identify trends, use statistics to identify customer needs. With this data they make recommendations for improving quality and increasing customer satisfaction.
The Quality Champion training includes receiving a Masters Degree in Quality Assurance. With this degree they can teach six sigma and black belt tools to employees in the workplace.
